Our client, a leader in property and facilities management within the manufacturing environment, is seeking a dedicated Facilities Manager to join their team. As a Facilities Manager, you will be an integral part of the Property & Facilities Management department supporting onsite operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to facility management, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Facilities Manager

Location: Houston, TX

Pay Range:

Shift: Days (07:00-16:00)

What's the Job?

  • Manage and oversee daily building operations and maintenance activities at the site.
  • Coordinate with vendors for housekeeping, landscaping, and other site services.
  • Handle day-to-day operational issues as they arise, ensuring smooth site functioning.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including PPE requirements like hard hats and steel-toe shoes.
  • Manage vendor relationships, budgets, and PO invoicing processes effectively.

What's Needed?

  • Hands-on experience and knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Strong understanding of budget management and vendor engagement.
  • Experience with PO invoicing processes.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in facilities management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CMMS software.
