Job Title: Facilities Manager III
Location: Burbank, CA 91522 (CA Burbank Bldg. 137, WBTV Adm / Prod Ofc)
Pay rate: $44.00 - $45.00/hr
Work schedule: Full-Time | On-Site | 5 days per week (40 hours). Overtime is not required or expected.
The main function of the Facilities Manager is to oversee the comprehensive maintenance and repair of all assigned facilities, ensuring strict compliance with building codes and health and safety regulations. Operating within a high-profile media and production environment, this role supports various office layouts—including corporate spaces, term deals, writers' rooms, and post-production suites. This role balances hands-on technical coordination across multiple trade teams with administrative and localized budgeting responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance Supervision: Supervise, direct, and coordinate day-to-day facility maintenance, operational workflows, and structural repairs.
Compliance & Code Adherence: Keep all buildings and active facilities up to structural code. Maintain equipment and facility provisions to accurately satisfy all internal protocols and health and safety requirements.
Cross-Functional Team Leadership: Direct independent work teams and coordinate across multiple technical trade disciplines to ensure facility service requests are fulfilled efficiently.
Fiscal Support: Manage localized budgeting responsibilities associated with immediate building maintenance demands.
Tenant & Customer Service: Deliver elite, thoughtful customer service while interacting with diverse tenants, corporate professionals, and high-profile individuals within a fast-paced production environment.
Operational Initiative: Demonstrate high resourcefulness and initiative by actively identifying and executing necessary secondary tasks when core workloads are reduced.
Must Have Skills / Requirements
Project Management Foundations: 1+ years of dedicated project management experience, specifically proving the ability to successfully manage multiple projects and competing deadlines simultaneously within a fast-paced environment.
Interpersonal Service Excellence: 3+ years of experience delivering high-end customer service and communication within a production or corporate setting, with the maturity to interface effectively with high-profile individuals.
Collaboration & Resourcefulness: 3+ years of operating in a highly collaborative team culture, showing strong independent work ethic, problem-solving capabilities, and a solution-oriented mindset.
Facility Frameworks: Strong working knowledge of commercial building systems, general maintenance requirements, and safety protocols.
Office Software: Direct proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
Nice to Have Skills / Preferred Requirements
Practical experience utilizing the Planon work order management system.
Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) is a plus.
Openness to receiving constructive feedback to maintain tenant satisfaction.
Education & Certifications
No formal degrees or certifications are strictly required.
Term: 6-Month Contract Assignment (Possibility for extension or conversion based on performance and business needs)
Target Start Date: June 23, 2026
Additional Requirements: Must pass a mandatory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background check.
