Position Overview SafeNest is seeking a dedicated, highly organized, and mission-driven Facilities Manager to lead the safe and efficient operation of our Residential Campus. This is a hands-on leadership role that goes beyond traditional property management. The Facilities Manager plays a critical part in ensuring that every physical space at SafeNest reflects our commitment to dignity, safety, and healing for the survivors and families we serve. The Facilities Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for all building operations, vendor relationships, safety compliance, and campus-wide maintenance. They will coordinate day-to-day upkeep, oversee long-term improvement projects, and proactively identify and address any conditions that could affect the well-being of our clients, staff, or volunteers. This role requires a strong sense of urgency, sound judgment, and deep respect for the sensitive environment in which we operate. Job Summary The Facilities Manager is responsible for the overall maintenance, safety, security, and operational readiness of the SafeNest Residential Campus. Reporting directly to the Assistant Director of Residential Services, this position ensures that all campus facilities, grounds, and infrastructure support a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for survivors, staff, volunteers, and community partners. The Facilities Manager serves as the primary lead for facility operations, vendor management, preventative maintenance, campus improvement projects, safety compliance, and physical security systems. This position works closely with the Assistant Director of Residential Services to support strategic campus improvements, operational efficiency, emergency preparedness, and long-term facility planning.
