Position: Facility Manager
Reports to: Executive Director of Operations
Status: Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Classification: Exempt
Description Summary
Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the interior facilities, event setup and support, custodial services, and building safety. Leads and develops custodial staff, facilities support personnel, and ministry partners to ensure all church activities are supported with excellence. Ensures facilities are clean, safe, welcoming, and prepared for ministry, staff, and guest use.
Note: This position requires PV Membership.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for leading and developing the Custodial and Event Support Teams to effectively support the vision, goals, and ministry strategies of PVBC
- Oversee all facility scheduling logistics related to event setup, room configurations, custodial support, and teardown requirements.
- Ensure all internal and external events are executed successfully through effective planning, communication, setup, support, and follow-up.
- Manage custodial operations to ensure buildings are maintained in a clean, organized, safe, and welcoming condition.
- Develop and implement cleaning standards, preventive cleaning schedules, and quality control measures for all interior spaces.
- Responsible for building safety programs, including safety inspections, incident reporting, corrective action plans, emergency preparedness, and compliance with applicable safety regulations.
- Coordinate and maintain the Facilities Emergency Manual and assist in developing emergency response procedures for staff and volunteers.
- Partner with ministry leaders and event coordinators to ensure facility needs are identified and fulfilled before, during, and after events.
- Recruit, train, and equip volunteers serving in event setup, hospitality support, and facility readiness teams.
- Assist with budget planning and management for custodial supplies, event support equipment, and facility operations.
- Develop a day-to-day culture with staff and volunteers that demonstrates a Christ-like attitude.
- Cultivate an equipping culture that encourages teamwork, ownership, servant leadership, and excellence.

Education / Experience
- Minimum Associate's or Bachelor's Degree; equivalent experience may substitute for education
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in facilities operations, event management, hospitality, or custodial leadership
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience
