This role manages all aspects of repair and maintenance, vendor performance, project execution, and emergency response for both new and existing restaurants. Acting as a strategic partner to Operations and Development, the Facilities Manager proactively oversees day-to-day service requests, long-term planning, and preventative maintenance, while supporting the team in delivering safe, fully functional spaces that meet CAVAs standards. This individual plays a key role in balancing operational needs, vendor management, and budget management, to drive restaurant performance and guest satisfaction experience./ppSuccess at CAVA: At CAVA, Managers oversee daily execution for themselves and their team and make operational decisions that keep things running smoothly. We look for leaders who support team development, lead with agility, foster inclusion, and drive consistent results aligned with team and company priorities./ppWhat Youll Do:/pulliOversees all facilities repair and maintenance activities within the assigned region, ensuring restaurants operate safely and efficiently with minimal service disruption./liliServes as the primary liaison between Operations and external vendors to triage, troubleshoot, and resolve maintenance requests through the ServiceChannel platform, managing a high volume of daily work orders with urgency and accuracy./liliManages the proposal and invoice workflow, reviewing submitted work scopes, validating pricing accuracy, and ensuring work is completed to standard before authorizing payment./liliOversees waste and recycling vendor relationships within the region, ensuring timely service and issue resolution for assigned restaurants./liliMaintains consistent vendor communication to drive accountability, performance, and alignment with timelines, budgets, and service expectations across all levels of repair and capital work./liliConducts regular site visits and targeted inspections to assess restaurant conditions, identify risks or deficiencies, and collaborate with Operations to implement solutions that improve functionality and guest experience./liliPartners closely with the Development team during new restaurant openings, contributing to project reviews, punch walks, and warranty issue resolution to ensure a seamless handoff from construction to operations./liliResponds to emergency situations, including equipment failures, safety hazards, or facility disruptions, with a calm and decisive approach to minimize operational impact./liliTracks and analyzes facilities spending and vendor performance across the region to identify trends, monitor budgets, and inform strategic decisions related to asset lifecycle management and capital improvements./liliParticipates in recurring team meetings and cross-functional updates to communicate project status, escalate recurring issues, and align on short- and long-term facilities priorities./liliCoaches and supports Facilities Supervisors and other team members by offering guidance, oversight, and opportunities for skill development to ensure high-quality service delivery and professional growth./liliCollaborates with Operations and other departments to establish a preventative maintenance mindset across the region, implementing systems and routines to proactively address issues before they disrupt service./liliMaintains accurate and timely documentation for all maintenance activities, ensuring clear communication, recordkeeping, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations./li/ulpThe Qualifications:/pulli3+ years of experience managing facilities operations in a multi-unit environment, preferably within restaurant, hospitality, or retail sectors./liliProven success managing a high volume of service requests, vendor relationships, and project timelines while maintaining service quality and cost control./liliStrong working knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and facilities operations, with the ability to assess, scope, and prioritize repairs independently./liliExperience using ServiceChannel or similar computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)./liliExceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and influence across internal teams and external partners./liliAdept at managing competing priorities in a dynamic, field-based role, including travel up to 40% of the time and responding to urgent needs after hours./li/ulpPhysical Requirements:/pulliAbility to maintain stationary position to be able to operate a computer and other office equipment/liliMust be able to identify, analyze and assess details/liliFor certain positions, must be able to occasionally move or transport items up to 50 pounds/liliAbility to communicate with others and exchange information accurately and effectively/liliConstantly positions self and move about to support ordinary restaurant or food production support or office operations, as applicable/liliAbility to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner/li/ulpWhat we offer:/pulliCompetitive salary, plus bonus and long-term incentives*/liliEarly Wage Access!/liliUnlimited PTO, paid parental leave, plus paid opportunities to give back to the community/liliHealth, Dental, Vision, Telemedicine, Pet Insurance plus more!/lili401k enrollment with CAVA contribution/liliCompany-paid STD, LTD, Life and ADD coverage for salaried positions*/liliFree CAVA food/liliCasual work environment/liliThe opportunity to be on the ground floor of a rapidly growing brand/li/ulpAll exempt and non exempt employees are eligible for benefits.
