Based full-time in a landmark Manhattan skyscraper in the heart of New York City, this role will oversee approximately 500,000 square feet across nine floors, including a vibrant workplace environment featuring a commercial café and kitchen operation.

This is a unique opportunity for a strategic facilities leader who enjoys building programs from the ground up, developing high-performing teams, driving financial performance, and delivering an exceptional workplace experience. What You'll Do:

  • Build, implement, and continuously improve a comprehensive facilities management program for a large-scale corporate workplace.
  • Lead, coach, and develop an onsite facilities team while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and service excellence.
  • Manage daily building operations, maintenance activities, and workplace services across a multi-floor campus environment.
  • Oversee third-party vendor relationships, service performance, contract compliance, and procurement activities.
  • Prepare, manage, and present monthly operating budgets, financial reports, forecasts, and cost-savings initiatives to client leadership.
  • Coordinate preventative maintenance programs and support maintenance planning for building systems, workplace amenities, and kitchen equipment.
  • Review floor plans and space utilization data to support workplace planning, projects, and operational decision-making.
  • Provide technical guidance and knowledge-sharing to technicians and service partners while ensuring quality, safety, and operational standards are achieved.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and related facilities management experience will also be considered.
  • Experience leading facilities management operations within a large corporate, technology, hospitality, or commercial office environment.
  • Proven success implementing new programs, processes, and teams in a growing or evolving workplace setting.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, identifying cost savings, and presenting financial results to stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated expertise managing third-party vendors, service contracts, and performance metrics.
  • Ability to interpret floor plans and collaborate on workplace planning and occupancy initiatives.
  • Experience mentoring technicians and guiding maintenance operations through technical and operational challenges.
  • Knowledge of commercial kitchen or food service equipment maintenance is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, and other Microsoft Office applications; experience with ServiceNow CMMS, Coupa, and financial management systems such as Adaptive preferred. Power BI or analytics reporting experience is a plus.
