About the Role:

CBRE is seeking a Facilities Manager to support a leading provider of smart security, monitoring, and automation solutions that helps protect residential and commercial customers. Based onsite in West Henrietta, NY, this role will oversee all facilities operations for a 50,000 sq. ft. monitoring and call center facility while also remotely managing approximately 35 sales and service offices throughout the Northeast region. No travel to these locations is required.

As a key client-facing leader, you will ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of facilities, drive maintenance and capital improvement initiatives, manage vendor partnerships, and lead a high-performing facilities team.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead day-to-day facilities operations and maintenance activities for a 50,000 sq. ft. critical operations facility.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, performance management, and development for facilities team members.
  • Coordinate repairs, preventive maintenance, and service activities with contractors, technicians, and vendors.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing solutions to facility-related issues and operational challenges.
  • Manage operating budgets, capital projects, forecasts, and financial variance reporting.
  • Conduct facility inspections and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Oversee environmental health and safety programs, promoting a safe workplace and operational best practices.
  • Manage vendor performance, procurement activities, contract services, and invoicing processes across the portfolio.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred with 3+ years of facilities, building operations, or related management experience; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
  • Experience leading teams, including employee development, coaching, performance management, and workforce planning.
  • Strong facility maintenance, vendor management, and project coordination experience.
  • Knowledge of building operations, safety programs, regulatory compliance, and facility inspection processes.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and service providers while managing sensitive or complex situations.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills with experience managing budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditures.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
  • Valid driver's license required; Facility Management certification is a plus.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Facilities Manager position is $90,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Facilities Manager position is $100,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
