Position Description
The Facilities Manager oversees the physical plant, infrastructure, and capital equipment. This role ensures the facility operates at peak efficiency by managing utilities, performing preventative maintenance, and coordinating grounds upkeep. The manager is responsible for all safety and environmental compliance, including hazardous waste management, OSHA standards, and maintaining certifications such as AS9100 and ISO 14001. Additionally, this position directs external contractors, manages the maintenance budget, and modifies plant engineering equipment to support production goals
* Minimum of 7 years of hands-on facility maintenance experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment.
* Technical proficiency in maintaining industrial systems, specifically HVAC, boiler systems, electrical, and plumbing.
* Demonstrated experience managing Environmental Management Systems (EMS) in compliance with ISO 14001 and OSHA safety standards.
* Proven ability to manage facility budgets and oversee third-party contractors for construction or repair projects.
Competitive salary commensurate with experience: $110,000-$125,000
