Facilities & Manufacturing Project Manager

Pay Rate: $64.29 per hour

Summary:

• Location: Pewaukee, WI
• Duration: 6 Months
• Work Mode: Onsite
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm or 7:30am – 4:00pm

Responsibilities:

• Manage 2 concurrent facilities projects: an office remodel and document digitization initiative, and 1 manufacturing/warehouse redesign project.
• Oversee project life cycles from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
• Serve as the single-point-of-contact for internal teams and external vendors.
• Communicate project plans and logistics to all site employees (~85 people) for the office remodel.
• Manage smaller cross-functional teams (10–12 members per project) for digitization and warehouse redesign.
• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
• Oversee the evaluation, cataloging, and destruction/archive of physical documents in compliance with proprietary information protection standards.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and status reports.
• Track deliverables and document all requirements, progress, and changes.
• Proactively identify potential problems, mitigate risks, and resolve issues as they arise.
• Organize project teams, assign tasks, and maintain balanced personnel resources according to project phases.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years managing facilities and/or manufacturing projects (not IT).
• Experience in hands-on, high-communication project environments is essential.

• Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to drive projects with minimal oversight.
• Experience managing vendors and cross-functional teams.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, changing environments.
• Comfort with standard PM tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana).
