Facilities & Material Handling Equipment Maintenance Specialist III — Nampa, ID

We keep a high-volume distribution center running safely and efficiently. Your electro-mechanical expertise across facility systems and MHE ensures uptime, accuracy in our CMMS, and a safe environment for all.

Impact you’ll make

  • Deliver professional, timely maintenance to sustain reliability of conveyors, forklifts and powered equipment, industrial batteries, dock equipment, racking, lighting, and HVAC.
  • Proactively observe equipment for safe, proper operation; diagnose, repair, and communicate status and next steps.
  • Execute vendor-recommended procedures while meeting all safety standards.
  • Prioritize work by business impact to minimize downtime.
  • Model and enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and Arc Flash compliance.
  • Coach teammates by sharing best practices and technical knowledge.
  • Support additional general maintenance tasks as needed to uphold facility and grounds.

How you’ll execute

  • Use the CMMS to log time and parts, ensuring accurate inventory and man-hour reporting.
  • Apply electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical skills to preventive and corrective work.
  • Follow documentation, manuals, drawings, and schematics in print or digital formats.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in a fast-paced industrial or warehouse setting maintaining powered equipment with electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components (preferred).
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework or on-the-job training in mechanical, electrical, welding, and HVAC controls.
  • Certifications: Trade/technical certifications are a plus; MHE certification or specialized training preferred. Long-term service in the field may be considered equivalent.
