Shift Details

  • Day shift typically works 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
  • Weekend availability is required.

Job Description City of Hope is seeking an experienced Facilities Mechanic II with background in healthcare and/or commercial settings. The facilities department ensures systems are running smoothly to take care of our patients and staff.

Responsibilities As a successful candidate, you will:

  • Install and repair equipment according to applicable building and safety codes.
  • Provide assistance to other Engineering shops as necessary to complete work projects on schedule.
  • Provide services normally performed by these Engineering Trades: HVAC, Plumbing, Carpentry, Electrical, Locksmith, Painting, and Preventive Maintenance.

Qualifications Your qualifications should include:

  • High School Diploma required. College or Trade school preferred.
  • Current CA drivers license and a good driving record.
  • 3 or more years crafts experience, which may include HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, painting, maintenance rounds, and record keeping.
  • Previous Healthcare experience preferred.
