As a facilities mechanical engineer, you will work on projects that enable the heart of our client’s semiconductor-based manufacturing. You and other team members will work closely with client owners in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. In this role, you will collaborate with on-site personnel to support projects of varying size and complexity, including assessment of systems, consulting system owners, and analyzing scope requests from stakeholders. You will be responsible for interacting with the client, contractors, and site personnel in Wilton, Connecticut. Your job includes designing, developing, evaluating, and preparing recommendations with a basis of design (BOD) and scope of work (SOW) documents, in addition to design, construction, and specifications documents through the positional (programming) process with a team. You will also oversee engineering and construction for the facility mechanical systems work, including HVAC, process cooling water, wastewater, general and acid/ammonia exhaust, fire protection, plumbing, process piping, and equipment. The work will include retrofits of existing building systems, as well as new systems.
