The College of Pharmacy is seeking a student employee who will work under the direction of our Research Facilities Manager and College Administrator. This is a crucial student position that must be staffed by someone who is able to keep a dependable schedule, complete tasks as assigned and communicate regularly on their progress. This is a position that will need to both ask for guidance when uncertain, learn, and then work in a self-sufficient manner under limited supervision with integrity and competence.
The successful candidate will assist to complete the following tasks: moving lab supplies and equipment, tracking inventory of University equipment, auditing inventory and safety protocols, maintenance of records (occupancy, use of space, chemicals, etc.), coordinate with approvers to facilitate access for students, staff, and faculty. This position may be requested to provide general maintenance of building sites and equipment while ensuring workplace safety. The successful student employee will be engaged, competent, receptive to feedback, ready to grow, able to communicate effectively, while maintaining a high degree of personal integrity and a safe work environment.
