The role involves overseeing facility operations, maintenance, utilities, and infrastructure support activities across assigned locations to ensure reliable operations supporting mission-critical research.
In this position, you will:
- Plan, direct, coordinate, schedule, inspect, and supervise facility operations, maintenance, and infrastructure activities.
- Oversee facility and trades staff supporting building systems, utilities, repairs, and operational projects.
- Manage utility and infrastructure systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient campus operations.
- Coordinate with researchers, staff, contractors, utility providers, and stakeholders to meet facility needs.
- Serve as a Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) by developing procurement packages, statements of work, and related documents.
- Monitor and manage maintenance, repair, and service contracts.
- Ensure safety compliance and implement best management practices.
- Support planning and execution of facility improvement, repair, and sustainment projects.
