Boeing's Global Real Estate, Planning and Strategy organization is currently seeking a Facilities Planner (Senior or Lead) to join our Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) planning team in the following locations: Auburn; Everett; Renton; Tukwila; or Seattle, WA.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting Boeing's commercial programs across the enterprise. We're looking for a candidate who brings passion, creativity, strategic thinking and a strong drive for process improvement and operational efficiency.

As a Lead Facilities Planner (Senior or Lead), you will be responsible for occupancy planning on a diverse set of space types, focusing on manufacturing/production, office/support, flightline, hangar & test operations, and more. Our BCA Portfolio is comprised of roughly sixty million square feet spread across the globe and consists of multiple programs that connect the world.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes headcount forecasts, business plans, and regional/site strategies to project and plan space and facility requirements

  • Initiates and leads forecasting efforts and scenario analyses to support both short- and long-term strategic planning

  • Develops and manages complex project scopes, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and providing clear status updates to stakeholders

  • Creates, integrates, and communicates strategic proposals to internal partners, sponsors, and implementation teams to influence decision-making and guide execution

  • Manages real property assets, allocates site costs, and contributes to overall asset use and optimization strategies

  • Prepares and maintains master site facility plans and lead space management initiatives, including contributions to systems implementation

  • Leads regional or company-wide studies to evaluate site capabilities, manufacturing processes, and future needs, incorporating research, feasibility modeling, and value engineering

  • Collaborates with internal and external organizations, senior leadership, and government agencies to assess impacts on business operations and facility planning

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelors' Degree or higher

  • 3+ years of experience collecting, organizing, synthesizing, and analyzing data, summarizing findings, developing conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources

  • 3+ years of experience using Microsoft office tools, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • 3+ years of experience in building and presenting plans or recommendations to executive leadership

  • 3+ years of experience in program planning, project management, integrated scheduling, Industrial Engineering, Business Operations, and/or related disciplines

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 3+ years of experience using AutoCAD or similar CAD program

  • 3+ years of experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools

  • 3+ years of experience working with and developing a Long-Range Business Plan (LRBP)

Summary pay range for Lead (Level 4): $126,650 - $171,350

Summary pay range for Senior (Level 5): $156,400 - $211,600
