There is one (1) open position. Both internal and external applicants will be considered. Applicants must be available to work all shifts (day, swing, and graveyard) 7 days a week - including holidays. Shift assignments are generally determined by seniority using a Shift Bid System.
The Facilities Plumber Technician IV performs skilled, journey-level plumbing work in the inspection, installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial plumbing fixtures and systems; including, but not limited to, interior and exterior water, gas, air, storm and sewer lines, plumbing equipment, such as sinks, lavatories, gas and electric water heaters, fountains, ice machines, dishwashers, lift stations, sump pumps, air compressors, and backflow preventers.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Graduation from high school or equivalent certificate and completion of a plumbing apprenticeship program. An equivalent combination of directly related experience and training may be substituted on a year for year basis.
Experience: Three (3) years of journey-level plumbing experience maintaining, inspecting, and repairing plumbing systems and components in an industrial/commercial environment.
Certification: Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester certificate, or the ability to obtain within one-year from date of hire.
Licensing: A valid driver's license is required at the time of application.

Entry Salary: $26.21 - $30.80 per hour, with opportunity for additional merit-based increases to a range maximum of $37.66 per hour. In addition, employees working non-day shifts receive an additional $2.40 per hour of shift differential pay. Initial salary placement is based upon experience and qualifications. This is an hourly and overtime eligible position.
