    Description

    Here is how the Facilities Project Engineer role will impact our business:

    The Facilities Project Engineer III/Sr/Expert is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of capital projects supporting midstream facilities, including compressor stations, dehydration systems, and metering facilities. This role serves as the primary project manager throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. This role offers the opportunity to grow within a dynamic team through mentorship and hands-on experience with midstream operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead execution of multiple capital projects from concept development through commissioning and closeout while maintaining focus on safety, quality, schedule, and cost.
    • Generate and evaluate project scopes, cost estimates and project schedules for new installations, expansions, and facility upgrades.
    • Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Compliance, Environmental, Safety, Land, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Finance teams.
    • Facilitate project meetings and communicate project status to leadership.
    • Support construction, commissioning, and troubleshooting of midstream facilities in collaboration with Operations, Construction, and EHS teams.
    • Resolve technical and construction issues that arise during project execution.
    • Coordinate with third-party vendors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure timely and effective project execution.
    • Support construction management activities including participation in hazard analyses, constructability reviews, Management of Change (MOC), and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR).
    • Capture lessons learned and incorporate best practices into future projects.

    Required Skills and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Petroleum Engineering (or a related engineering field).
    • Minimum of 4 years of engineering experience, preferably in midstream or natural gas systems.
    • Valid driver's license.
    • Understanding of gas pipeline design, compression, dehydration, and metering systems.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Proactive, results-driven mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
    • Willingness to travel up to 20% and work a flexible schedule including weekends/holidays as needed.

    Preferred Skills and Experience:

    • PMP Certification preferred.
    • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency preferred.

    Work Location:

    This role will combine field work, remote work, and office work within the Southwestern PA, area.
