MAJOR FUNCTION
Assist the Architectural Services Office with administrative and technical work required for management of countys vertical construction projects. Responsible for assisting with the development, planning and overseeing all aspects of design, construction and close-out of county vertical construction projects.
ILLUSTRATIVE DUTIES
KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES AND SKILLS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate of an accredited two (2) year college with major coursework in architecture, engineering, construction, construction management or a related field.
Minimum of four (4) years of building and construction experience,
Two (2) years in a construction management environment preferably.
Must be able to pass a national background check, mandated by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, which includes online security training.
A valid drivers license is required; a Florida drivers license must be obtained upon employment. The employee must maintain a clean driving record to operate an assigned county vehicle.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
All employees will be required to work before, during, or after an emergency. During an emergency, employees may temporarily be assigned to work and perform duties outside the normal scope of their position, location and work schedule to fit the needs of the County and its residents.
