Facilities Reliability Mechanic — Preventive Maintenance & HVAC

Join our Manufacturing & Operations team on-site in Richmond, IL to safeguard uptime and reliability across building systems. In this role, you’ll report to the Facilities/Maintenance Manager, champion safe work practices by example, and grow your technical capabilities through continuous training and development.

Impact you will make

• Execute preventive maintenance activities that meet company, local, state, and federal safety guidelines.
• Conduct routine building maintenance and support facility alteration projects.
• Provide mechanical service and troubleshooting for facility HVAC and automation systems.

What it takes to succeed

• Five or more years of general building repair experience preferred.
• Personal tool kit and demonstrated troubleshooting ability.
• Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude; ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Basic computer proficiency and confident math skills.
• Self-starter who works with minimal supervision; open to weekend work and overtime when required.

Physical demands and work setting

• Ability to exert 50–100 lbs. occasionally, 25–50 lbs. frequently, and 10–20 lbs. constantly.
• Standing and walking may be required up to 90% of the day.
