We are seeking a Facilities Restoration Technician to join our Facilities team in Boone, NC. Through humanitarian work, the goal and purpose of Samaritans Purse are to help people in Jesus name and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

In the role of Facilities Restoration Technician, you will have the opportunity to:

• Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ
• Perform specialized facility restoration and preservation services, including commercial glass, hard-floor, exterior surface, and specialty restoration.
• Operate aerial lifts, floor machines, pressure washers, extractors, and other specialized equipment safely and effectively.
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and routine care of restoration equipment.
• Complete projects such as high dusting, post-construction cleaning, lighting restoration, snow and ice removal, and emergency facility response.
• Travel between Samaritans Purse campuses is needed to complete specialty projects and support ministry operations.
• Other duties as assigned

What are the qualifications?

As a qualified candidate, you will have the following skills and experience:

• High school diploma or GED and at least three (3) months related window cleaning experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. A valid drivers license is required for this position. Previous experience operating a forklift is preferred. Must obtain and maintain forklift and scissor lift certification.
• Excellent communication skills and problem-solving skills
• Ability to operate various pieces of cleaning equipment and diagnose and resolve problems with that equipment
• Ability to stand up to 8 hours a day.
• Able to reach for extended periods and maintain a good sense of balance.
