Schedule

Rotating Night Shift / 6:00pm – 6:00am with flexibility for weekends, holidays, and alternate shifts.

What you will do

• Run utilities from the control room using BMS, EMS, SCADA, and related systems; analyze trends and respond to abnormal conditions.
• Acknowledge and resolve alarms; implement corrective actions through controls, then transition to hands-on field work as needed.
• Execute and close work orders: troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and upgrade production and facility equipment.
• Perform PMs, emergency response, mechanical/electrical repairs, inspections, and routine monitoring on utility assets.
• Collect routine water samples and conduct testing.
• Conduct stainless steel passivation; perform annual/semi-annual shutdown maintenance; assist with projects.
• Complete and sign daily/shift logs and routine monitoring records.
• Document activities thoroughly in the CMMS.
• Support contractors and project engineers; coordinate day-to-day repairs and project work.
• Initiate work orders and purchase orders to sustain equipment reliability.
• Clean, paint, and organize utility areas.
• Maintain GMP/SOP training compliance; drive safety and continuous improvement.
• Provide shift coverage for teammates (vacations, illness, weekends, holidays, day shift) and perform other duties as assigned.

Systems you will own

• Boilers, chillers, pumps, hot water, compressors
• Pure steam, vacuum, high purity water
• Reverse osmosis, vapor compression stills
• HVAC, waste water, city water, water softeners
• Fire alarms and ancillary equipment

Ensure proper environmental conditions within cleanrooms and aseptic spaces—temperature, humidity, and differential pressure—and manage alarms on utility equipment, incubators, refrigerators, freezers, and other critical systems.

How you will work

Operate independently with minimal supervision during nights to support continuous facility operations. Own GMP, regulatory, and EHS compliance within assigned areas.

Required qualifications

• Aseptic Gowning Certification
• Confined space entry
• Respiratory qualification
• Forklift, high lift, or JLG certification may be required
• Ability to handle potentially hazardous chemicals
• Logical troubleshooting and repair approach
• Strong organization, urgency under pressure, and emergency response readiness
• Effective verbal/written communication; detail and quality mindset
• Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office/Word) and CMMS experience
• Experience with mechanics tools, calipers, welding gear, and related maintenance tools (preferred)

• Pipe fitting
• Electrical and relay control troubleshooting
• Pump rebuild/repair
• Welding
• Scissor lift/JLG operation
• Stainless steel passivation
• PLC familiarity and VFD operation
• Steam system operation
• Trane Tracer building automation systems
• Maximo or similar CMMS
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, GMP-regulated, or regulated manufacturing (strongly preferred)
