Facilities Solutions Sales Specialist

ROLE SUMMARY

As a Facility Solutions Specialist, you are responsible for supporting profitable sales growth and customer engagement across the Janitorial and Sanitation (Jan/San) and Breakroom categories. Your focus is on managing inbound opportunities, executing proactive customer outreach, responding to customer inquiries and selling support requests, and advancing opportunities that drive business growth and customer success.

This role emphasizes responsive customer engagement, consultative selling, problem-solving, and collaboration with cross-functional partners. Through a combination of inbound demand management and proactive outreach, you will leverage digital tools and customer insights to identify opportunities, increase share of wallet, and achieve established sales and key performance indicators (KPIs).

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Drive Facility Solutions Sales Growth

• Execute inbound and outbound customer engagement to grow Jan/San and Breakroom sales, including janitorial paper and dispensers, cleaning chemicals and supplies, hand soaps and sanitizers, safety supplies, breakroom products, and Total Coffee programs.

Manage Opportunities & Customer Engagement

• Respond to customer inquiries, inbound sales opportunities, and selling support requests.
• Qualify needs, provide recommendations, and advance opportunities toward successful outcomes.
• Build productive customer relationships through consultative selling, solution recommendations, timely follow-up, and value-driven conversations.

Leverage Digital Tools & Data

• Utilize CRM and digital tools to manage activities, track opportunities, prioritize work, and ensure timely execution of customer requests and next steps.

Pricing, Quoting & Proposal Support

• Support pricing and quoting activities, prepare customized recommendations and proposals, and present solutions in accordance with established pricing guidelines and approval requirements.

Problem Solving & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Address customer needs through effective problem-solving, resource coordination, and collaboration with internal partners.
• Partner with sales, pricing, merchandising, operations, and support teams to execute opportunities, support customer needs, and deliver a seamless customer experience.

Achieve Sales & Performance Objectives

• Meet or exceed established sales goals, productivity metrics, service expectations, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 1+ years of sales, customer service, account management, or related experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 1+ years of B2B sales or customer support experience.
• Working knowledge of Janitorial & Sanitation (Jan/San) and Breakroom products.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience using Salesforce.com or another CRM platform.
