TEN Credit Union is seeking a Facilities Specialist I at the Main branch to support office operations, building maintenance, inventory management, and workplace services across multiple locations.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in facilities maintenance, office operations, property management, building services, or inventory control who enjoys solving problems and supporting others.

What You'll Do

As a Facilities Specialist, you'll play an important role in ensuring our offices remain safe, organized, and fully operational. You'll work closely with employees, vendors, and branch teams while supporting a variety of facilities and workplace functions.

You will oversee mailroom operations, ensuring the timely distribution of incoming and outgoing mail, while also helping maintain office equipment and workspaces so employees have the resources they need to be productive.

This position also manages office supply inventory and coordinates deliveries to branch locations. You'll help keep our facilities well-stocked and organized while supporting daily office operations.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Process facilities work orders and helpdesk requests, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Serve as a liaison with outside contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance and repair projects.
  • Replenish snack and beverage stations at the Main Office.
  • Travel to Tennessee branch locations, including East Tennessee approximately twice per month, to deliver supplies and assist with facility needs.
  • Assist with emergency preparedness initiatives and workplace safety efforts.
  • Transport repossessed vehicles as needed.
  • Perform light building maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep.

What We're Looking For

  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record (annual MVR review required).

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in facilities maintenance, building operations, office administration, inventory management, property maintenance, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and build credibility with employees and vendors.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, reaching, and climbing throughout the workday.

Candidates must also be comfortable operating company and personal vehicles while traveling between branch locations and performing job-related duties.
