Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Facilities Specialist will be responsible for supporting the Emory Clinic Facilities Management Department in ensuring our clinic locations operate as effectively as possible while providing an exceptional experience to patients, faculty and staff.
- This role will provide various levels of oversight and long-term planning in the FM programs, daily maintenance operations, department related databases and budgeting for The Emory Clinic.
- Manage relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure vendors deliver services in a timely and effective manner.
- Conduct reviews of vendor and contractor billing to ensure proper billing according to service agreement or contract terms.
- Manage the ordering of office supplies, office equipment and other supplies and services as requested by TEC¿s purchasing policies and budgetary parameters.
- Serve as access coordinator for the department. Responsible for TEC building security and surveillance system(s) oversight, implementation and trouble shooting.
- Serve as key contact for security and surveillance system(s) representatives and coordinates regularly scheduled meetings with vendor(s) to review project status. Monitor and maintain maintenance budget spending.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- 5 years of administrative or facility experience required.
- Experience in providing customer service with a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform an prioritize multiple tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to read and translate leases as it relates to facility set-up and/or decommissioning.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools. Collaborative team player with ability to work cross-functionally.
