Job Description:
  • Pulling order requested by the trades.
  • Delivering janitorial items around campus in customer vehicle (box truck)
  • Maintain and monitoring customer inventory using the customer inventory management program.
  • Customer vendor management.
  • Must be able to lift and move stockroom items as they come in from vendors.
  • Work well with the trades people coming in the stockroom.
  • Must be able to use pallet jacks.
  • Manage the loading dock and incoming shipments.
  • Must be able to multi-task and prioritize tasks.
  • Must be flexible with the work shift. The shift is 8: 30-5pm but the stockroom is open 7am to 5pm.
  • Work well with other team members.
  • Must be willing to learn the other client services at the customer location. Mail, Copy and Lab supplies stockroom
  • Must have good computer skills to work with Maximo inventory, Gmail, Coupa, etc. Inventory Management
  • Utilize IBM Maximo and other technologies for inventory tracking, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Monitor and manage fulfillment of daily electronic material requests from internal staff.
  • Assess availability for fulfillment of electronic material requests, pick orders and stage for pick up or delivery either from internal stock or through approved purchasing procedures.
  • Conduct cycle counting and lead annual physical inventory audits.
  • Analyze inventory trends to adjust min/max levels and prevent shortages or overstock.
  • Partner with Trade supervisors and technicians to identify and source materials.
  • Generate inventory metrics and recommend improvements to Associate Director.
  • Train and onboard new Trades members in inventory processes for requesting materials.
 
Material Handling and Receiving
  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials;verify packing lists and invoice accuracy.
  • Maintain, record and log items received, issued and shipped.
  • Process material requests and issue items to work orders using Maximo.
  • Create and allocate job kits to support maintenance and operations teams.
 
Customer Service
  • Act as a point of contact for Facilities staff, resolving material discrepancies and managing returns.
  • Communicate order status and coordinate special material handling requirements.
  • Collaborate with vendors to address issues such as damaged items, backorders, special delivery instructions, etc.
 
Delivery and Logistics
  • Perform weekly scheduled deliveries of materials to designated O&M and Custodial staff around campus locations.
  • Safely operate equipment, including hand trucks, pallet jacks, and vehicles to transport materials.
  
Parking is provided.
Dress Code: Jeans and client's provided polo shirt. Sneakers are fine.
