The Facilities Supervisor will be responsible for managing the site buildings, grounds, utility feeds and site
wide alarm systems, including the fire suppression and alarming systems. The position will also have
responsibilities for HVAC for the site. The Facilties Supervisor will have direct supervision an hourly team.
The position will work closely with the area departments for input on prioritization to help drive improvements
and create long-term value.

REPORTING
The Facilities Supervisor reports to the Maintenance and Reliability Manager

ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Manages the renovations, repairs, and inspections of all buildings including windows/doors, roofs, walls,
floors, offices, door locks and keys, side walks, painting and other various general site facility needs
• Manages all aspects of the general grounds, including but not limited to, lawn care, landscaping, road &
parking lot maintenance, railroad maintenance, site fencing and gates maintenance, storm & sanitary
sewer maintenance and compactor & trash/metal bin contracts
• Manages the site office and building locks and lock system
• Responsible for winterization efforts
• Responsible for site wide pest management including administration of the contract pest control contract
• Maintains site general sanitation requirements and repairs
• Responsible for the mill's fire, alarm and emergency lighting systems. Ensure that periodic checks and
tests are conducted according to documented schedules. Ensure that established loss prevention
procedures are being followed. Additionally, this includes providing adequate training and system
upgrades as required
• Provide single point of contact with MLGW to manage the gas, potable water, fire water and sewer
systems
• Serves as the main point of contact for FM Global and risk management of the site
• Manage all supplies required to fulfill job requirements
• Manages Buildings and Grounds personnel to ensure completion of all assigned tasks
• Oversees contractors for facility renovation projects
• Manages the Buildings and Grounds budget, including Special Maintenance needs
• Supports site improvement through Capital Project involvement
• Every employee must implement Kruger environmental policy in their daily tasks. In particular,
employees are responsible to abide by legal and corporate environmental requirements, and must
adhere to all environmental procedures. Every employee is responsible to report all environmental
incidents and any potential environmental hazards.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering field preferred. Concentration in Facilities Management and/or
Construction Management desired
• Five+ years of supervision experience preferred
• General knowledge of building and maintenance procedures, including experience in dealing with
electricity, plumbing, air conditioning, heating and ventilation, general carpentry, electronic and other
related areas required
• General knowledge of construction, ability to read and interpret blueprints with a proven record of project
management, required
• Proficient computer skills to communicate and utilize management tools, required
• Ability to assist with the direct workflow of the department
• Experience with data backup options, systems, and procedures
• Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally
• Remains informed and current in infrastructure management functions and codes for local, state, and
federal governments
• Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential information and
situations
• Ability to plan and organize work activities, manage work time efficiently and work independently
• Must have proven complex analytical skills as well as the ability to develop sound recommendations and
solutions
• Ability to partner with managers and employees to positively impact business results
• Demonstrated accountability and responsibility for independent judgment and successful outcomes
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Consistent track record for executing performance objectives and delivering results
