Facilities Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reports to Facilities Manager
  • Assign and oversee the technical staff's daily operations
  • Monitor safety of staff operations and building environment. Report and correct any safety violations and conditions
  • Maintain and control process repair and facilities repair documentation
  • Prioritize and assign repair requests to department staff members
  • Help Facilities Manager supervise and monitor progress of improvement projects
  • Report progress and delays against project timelines to Facilities Manager
  • Control and make improvements to parts and equipment inventory system
  • Requisition parts and supplies as needed
  • Oversee maintenance, repairs, and documentation for major infrastructure systems which include boilers, air compressors, and power generation equipment along with associated CHP equipment.
  • Assist in all aspects of property buildings and grounds maintenance at both New London and Norwich locations
  • Assist Facilities Manager in the safety and orientation training process for new hires
  • Provide feedback and assist Facilities Manager with end of year employee evaluations
  • Other duties as assigned by Facilities Manager

 

Qualifications:

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Minimum 8 years of Maintenance/Machine Shop experience and/or training in facilities

· At least 2 years successfully leading a team
