- Reports to Facilities Manager
- Assign and oversee the technical staff's daily operations
- Monitor safety of staff operations and building environment. Report and correct any safety violations and conditions
- Maintain and control process repair and facilities repair documentation
- Prioritize and assign repair requests to department staff members
- Help Facilities Manager supervise and monitor progress of improvement projects
- Report progress and delays against project timelines to Facilities Manager
- Control and make improvements to parts and equipment inventory system
- Requisition parts and supplies as needed
- Oversee maintenance, repairs, and documentation for major infrastructure systems which include boilers, air compressors, and power generation equipment along with associated CHP equipment.
- Assist in all aspects of property buildings and grounds maintenance at both New London and Norwich locations
- Assist Facilities Manager in the safety and orientation training process for new hires
- Provide feedback and assist Facilities Manager with end of year employee evaluations
- Other duties as assigned by Facilities Manager
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Minimum 8 years of Maintenance/Machine Shop experience and/or training in facilities
· At least 2 years successfully leading a team
