Are you energized by keeping facilities running smoothly and making meaningful improvements every day? We’re looking for a proactive and collaborative contract manager to support our Operations and Maintenance division. In this role, you’ll work under the leadership of a facility manager and/or the Assistant Director of Operations and Maintenance, overseeing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and replacement activities across multiple building systems.

You’ll have the opportunity to manage projects and contractors in areas such as HVAC/mechanical, plumbing, electrical, life safety systems (including fire alarms, sprinklers, and generators), conveying systems, structural repairs, building envelope, ADA compliance, and various civil/site elements (painting, fencing, paving, doors and gates, and more).

Other responsibilities include:

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of assistant contract managers
Ensure work assigned to contract managers is completed on time, within budget, and to high operational standards
Collaborate closely with the Department of Procurement and Material Management (DPMM) to guide contract development
Manage budgets for multiple blanket purchase orders, understanding financial impacts and ensuring cost-effective decisions
Conduct cost-benefit analysis and provide strategic recommendations to department leadership
Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and strengthen facilities operations
Evaluate and recommend when to outsource work versus completing tasks in-house
