Facilities Support Associate

Location: Playa Vista, Los Angeles, CA 90094 (Onsite)

Pay Rate: $25–$28/hr + Weekly Pay + Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision)

Duration: 6–12 Month Contract (Excellent potential for extension & permanent )

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

About the Role

We're looking for a dependable, hands-on Facilities Support Associate to join a busy corporate Facilities team supporting over 200 employees. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying active, takes pride in helping others, and isn't afraid to jump in wherever needed.

No two days are the same. One day you may be assembling office furniture, the next you're setting up conference rooms for company events, helping move employees into new offices, assisting with shipping and receiving, or covering Reception during lunch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Check in daily with the Facilities Manager and Facilities Coordinator to prioritize work assignments.
  • Set up and break down conference rooms, meetings, leadership visits, and company events (often occurring daily).
  • Assemble office furniture by following written instructions, including desks, shelving, bookcases, storage racks, chairs, and other office equipment.
  • Move desks, chairs, office equipment, and employee workstations during internal office moves.
  • Install office nameplates and assist with workplace organization projects.
  • Provide shipping and receiving support during high-volume periods by assisting the Shipping team with incoming and outgoing packages.
  • Schedule couriers and coordinate deliveries as needed.
  • Monitor and manage Facilities work tickets throughout the day by updating statuses, documenting progress, and ensuring all assigned tickets are completed or properly updated before the end of each day.
  • Support Reception during lunch breaks or other scheduled absences by greeting visitors and answering the front desk.
  • Perform monthly inspections of fire extinguishers and AED equipment.
  • Monitor facility supplies and notify the Facilities or Shipping teams when inventory needs replenishment.
  • Support large office clean-up projects and 5S initiatives, including coordinating donations, shredding vendors, recycling, and waste removal.
  • Perform additional facilities and workplace support duties as assigned.

 


Required Qualifications

  • 2-10 years of experience supporting Facilities, Workplace Services, Hospitality, Corporate Office Operations, or a similar hands-on support role.
  • Must be reliable, dependable, and have a strong work ethic. We're looking for someone who wants to work and takes pride in supporting the team.
  • Requires being handy –can put things together, assembling office furniture, or can following written instructions.
  • Experience working in a corporate office environment supporting Facilities or Workplace Operations.
  • Experience using a ticketing or work order system to track work orders.
  • Experience to manage work order tickets by updating when completed, date, progress, making sure all assigned tickets are completed or properly updated before the end of each day.
  • Ability in moving office furniture, desks, chairs, boxes, and equipment.
  • Experience supporting conference room setups, meetings, office events and workplace activities.
  • Comfortable performing physical work throughout the day, including lifting up to 20 pounds and repetitive movement.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills when interacting with employees, vendors, and visitors.
  • Team player- asking how to help when work is complete.
  • Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, or similar Microsoft Office applications.
