Facilities Support Technician
Job Summary
We're looking for a dependable, customer-focused Facilities Support Technician to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our campus. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, takes pride in keeping facilities organized, and can perform a variety of light maintenance and operational support tasks.
You'll work throughout the facility responding to work orders, setting up meeting spaces, delivering materials, performing minor repairs, and ensuring employees, students, and visitors receive excellent service.
This is a hands-on position with a strong emphasis on customer service, communication, and teamwork.
What You'll Be Doing
- Respond to daily work orders through a ticketing system in a timely and professional manner.
- Set up and break down classrooms, conference rooms, and event spaces, including tables and chairs.
- Deliver packages, furniture, equipment, and supplies throughout the facility.
- Perform light maintenance tasks such as replacing ceiling tiles, repairing carpet tiles, hanging bulletin boards, changing light bulbs, and completing minor building repairs.
- Assist with moving furniture, office equipment, cubicles, and classroom furnishings.
- Inspect buildings and grounds for maintenance needs and report larger repair issues.
- Assist with preventative maintenance and routine facility inspections.
- Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or other technical repairs.
- Operate company vehicles, forklifts, and hand tools as needed.
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and storage spaces.
- Provide outstanding customer service while interacting with staff, students, vendors, and visitors.

- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Physical Requirements
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

- Operate hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and company vehicles safely.
