Key Responsibilities | |
1. | Performs light maintenance tasks, including minor repairs to doors, locks, furniture, plumbing fixtures, and wall surfaces. |
2. | Replaces basic facility components such as light bulbs, ceiling tiles, and air filters. |
3. | Completes assigned work orders through the ticketing system, documenting completed work and communicating status updates as required. |
4. | Conducts routine facility inspections and identifies, reports, or addresses deficiencies and safety concerns. |
5. | Supports room setups, furniture moves, and space adjustments for patient care and administrative areas. |
6. | Maintains proper appearance of grounds, including keeping walkways and parking areas clear of debris, snow, and ice. |
7. | Performs floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, auto-scrubbing, and basic maintenance of floor surfaces. |
8. | Operates floor care equipment safely and effectively, supporting advanced floor care activities as needed. |
9. | Performs upholstery and furniture cleaning to maintain cleanliness and appearance throughout the facility. |
10. | Uses approved cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment safely and in accordance with established procedures. |
11. | Adheres to all safety, infection prevention, and compliance standards while performing assigned duties. |
12. | Responds to service requests in a timely and patient-focused manner. |
13. | Assists with emergency response procedures as directed, including participation in drills and evacuation support. |
14. | Provides coverage for Environmental Services functions, including housekeeping and laundry tasks, during staffing gaps, absences, or high-volume periods. |
15. | Supports Floor Technician responsibilities, including operation of specialized equipment, as needed to maintain continuity of operations. |
16. | Assists with general operational needs across Facilities and Environmental Services as assigned. |
17. | Performs other duties as assigned by leadership. |

Education and Experience Required: |
High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous experience in facilities maintenance, environmental services, or related field preferred Experience operating tools, equipment, or floor care machinery preferred |
