Facilities Support Technician – Warehouse & Facility Maintenance

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable 2nd Shift Facilities Support Technician to maintain cleanliness, organization, and basic upkeep of our warehouse and facility areas. This role focuses on floor care, conveyor cleaning, HVAC filter replacement, and light facility maintenance tasks such as painting and minor installations.

This position does not perform repairs or troubleshooting on production equipment, machinery, or HVAC systems beyond approved air filter changes. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and professional facility environment.

Primary Responsibilities

Facility & Floor Care
  • Operate floor scrubbers and cleaning equipment to maintain warehouse floor cleanliness
  • Clean underneath conveyors, including nets and surrounding areas
  • Support overall housekeeping and facility appearance standards
Facility Maintenance Support
  • Change HVAC air filters in designated units per approved schedule or instruction
  • Perform light facility upkeep tasks, including:
    • Painting walls, lines, or facility markings
    • Replacing light bulbs and fixtures
    • Installing desks, shelving, and office furniture
Administrative & Task Support
  • Use a computer or tablet to:
    • View, manage, and complete assigned tasks or work orders
    • Enter basic task information, checklists, or updates
    • Communicate task status as required
General Duties & Safety
  • Assist with inventory and stocking of facility spare parts
  • Dispose of waste and maintain cleanliness in designated areas
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas and properly store tools and equipment
  • Report facility issues, damage, or safety concerns to supervision
  • Perform other facility-related duties as assigned within the scope of training
Position Scope & Limitations
  • This role may not repair, troubleshoot, or work on warehouse equipment, production machinery, or HVAC systems (other than approved air filter replacement).
  • Duties are limited to facility cleanliness, appearance, and basic non-technical maintenance tasks.
Qualifications
  • Ability to safely operate cleaning and light maintenance equipment
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet for task management
  • Attention to detail with a strong focus on cleanliness and organization
  • Ability to follow instructions, safety procedures, and defined job scope
  • Dependable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented
