As technology becomes increasingly vital to facility operations, this role will diagnose, lead, and implement diverse technical systems to improve building function. Primary responsibilities include managing two distinct, proprietary Building Automation Systems (BAS): Honeywell and Automated Logic. Beyond BAS operations, the role will also lead key departmental programs, including eSight Utility Management, electronic utility metering, oversight of the university's fire protection control systems, and leadership of the Maintenance Program Coordinator (special projects and data).
The Division of Facilities is an action-oriented service organization that supports our university vision of leading the nation as a next-generation land grant university. We are custodians, landscapers, carpenters, plumbers, electricians, mechanics, project managers, engineers, architects, accountants and administrative professionals — all stewards and leaders of an inspiring campus shared by many.
