This opportunity is open exclusively to active-duty service members who are eligible for the DOW SkillBridge Program.
Participants will complete a 12 week On‑the‑Job Training (OJT) program, gaining hands‑on experience across multiple roles within the Facilities Department. This program is designed to provide real‑world exposure, professional development, and a pathway to explore potential post‑service career opportunities.
The Facility Technician provides maintenance duties in Facilities across the Health First Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) including Inspections, Repairs, Preventative Maintenance of buildings, grounds and applicable equipment. The Facility Technician supports the adherence to all the safety, efficiency and reliability of facilities by leveraging knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems across all on and off site locations.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Work Experience
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
o Ability to provide and maintain required hand tools (job-specific power tools provided).
o Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
o Proficiency with hand and power tools used in maintenance work.
o Ability to perform basic carpentry, painting, and drywall repairs.
o Strong verbal and written communication skills.
o Ability to work independently, adapt to changing duties, and respond effectively to
emergencies
