Responsibilities:

How you’ll make an impact in this role 

  • Conducts routine inspections, testing, and manufacturer-specified preventative maintenance on HVAC, refrigeration, and facility structures. 
  • Fixes or replaces faulty mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and boiler equipment, including clearing obstructed lines and repairing leaking fixtures. 
  • Performs daily checks and repairs on specialized equipment like nurse call systems, medical gas outlets, TVs, and patient transport gear (wheelchairs). 
  • Manages the receipt, distribution, and relocation of facility materials, furniture, equipment, and files between storage and active locations. 
  • Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment (PPE) and completes safety checks to ensure full compliance with regulatory codes. 
Qualifications:

Must have one or more of the following:   

  • Graduate of trade school  
  • 2 years’ experience   
  • Other equivalent combination of relevant education or experience
