Facilities Technician

Description: Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform general facility maintenance repairs and upkeep as assigned.Assist with groundskeeping duties including mowing landscaping support cleanup and seasonal outdoor maintenance.Complete light carpentry minor repairs and other hands-on maintenance tasks.Support winter weather operations including plowing sanding and clearing facility lots and walkways.Respond to changing facility needs and shift priorities as work demands change.Pick up local orders supplies or other items as needed to support facility and business operations.Maintain clean safe and organized work areas and clean up after completing each job.Take responsibility for assigned work follow through on tasks and communicate when work is complete or when support is needed.Work collaboratively with team members and take direction from supervisors and designated leads.All Employees ShallComply with the EH&S Policy and applicable regulatory and company EH&S rules and requirementsReport to supervision conditions or practices that are either unsafe or that may adversely impact the environment to ensure prompt resolution of potential hazardsAttend scheduled EH&S training programActively support the organizations efforts to meet or exceed EH&S goals and plansRecommend improved EH&S practicesMust be able to communicate effectively with co-workers supervisors and third parties.
