  • Maintain equipment supporting pharmacy operations, including temperature-controlled storage environments and infrastructure required for medication dispensing and distribution
  • Monitor and support environmental control systems, including refrigerators, freezers, climate-controlled areas, environmental monitoring equipment, alarm systems, and calibration activities to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Execute preventive maintenance programs for facility infrastructure, pharmacy equipment, and environmental systems to minimize downtime and maintain operational continuity
  • Respond to facility service requests through Jira and support pharmacy operations by maintaining clean, organized, and compliant work environments
  • Conduct facility inspections to identify safety hazards, support corrective actions, and ensure compliance with internal policies and pharmacy regulatory requirements
  • Support facility security measures, including restricted-access areas, controlled substance storage environments, and physical security systems where applicable
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, preventive maintenance activities, environmental monitoring support, and vendor services through work order management and compliance documentation systems
  • Coordinate and oversee third-party vendors and contractors performing work on HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, and specialized pharmacy equipment while ensuring adherence to site safety and compliance requirements
  • Respond to facility emergencies, including temperature excursions, power outages, flooding, fire alarms, and equipment failures that may impact medication integrity or pharmacy operations
  • Participate in on-call rotations and support business continuity planning and emergency response procedures

Required Experience & Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with facilities personnel, pharmacy staff, operations teams, vendors, and leadership
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, work at heights, and perform work in varying environmental conditions, including temperature-controlled areas, mechanical rooms, and active operational spaces
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday with occasional after-hours and emergency response requirements

Preferred Qualifications:
