Facilities Technician

FieldBridge is looking for a Jr. Facilities Technician in Houston, TX to work for a global technology and engineering company that provides applied robotics, subsea solutions, and hardware to the offshore energ. We offer weekly pay + benefits.

Pay/Schedule: $14.90 - $18.00/hour | 7am - 4pm, Mon-Fri, 40 hrs/week | Weekly pay every Friday | Weekend and on-call OT available as needed | At $18/hr and 50 hrs/week, for example, earn weekly paychecks of earn $990.00 gross.

Position Overview
FieldBridge is hiring a Jr. Facilities Technician to support an Oceaneering facility in Houston. Working under direct supervision, you will handle upkeep, repairs, and maintenance and serve as the go-to contact for building issues and emergencies. You will help keep employees safe and assets secure.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to building issues such as climate control, odors, smoke, damage, and emergency repairs
• Document assigned work orders accurately and on time
• Make minor plumbing repairs and perform basic electrical work, knowing when to call an electrician
• Install and dismantle furniture and shelving, and assist with employee and department moves
• Transport goods and equipment, including forklift operation, and support building security and on-call emergency response

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience in facility maintenance
• General mechanical aptitude with knowledge of building and utility systems
• Computer literacy for maintenance management systems
• Valid Texas driver’s license with a good driving record, and willingness to complete yearly defensive driving training
• Able to perform heavy lifting
• Preferred: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, locksmith, or painting experience; ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics; Stationary Engineering License
