Facilities Technician II

Empath Health is seeking an experienced and dependable Facilities Technician II to join our team. This position is responsible for performing routine repairs and maintaining designated buildings and grounds, as well as completing skilled trades, construction, and renovation work as assigned.

Schedule: Per diem (PRN) - as needed for PTO coverage and special projects; no set schedule

What You'll Do

• Diagnose problems and perform repairs on equipment, fixtures, and building systems.
• Analyze and assess maintenance needs and make recommendations for cost-effective solutions.
• Assemble and install equipment and utilize working knowledge of multiple trades, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and building construction methods.
• Ensure equipment, fixtures, and facilities remain in safe and proper working condition.
• Travel to Empath Health locations as needed; a company vehicle is provided for work-related travel.

What You'll Need

• 2-3 years of maintenance experience.
• General knowledge of and experience with maintenance functions including electrical, plumbing, painting, wall repair, equipment and shelving installation, and grounds maintenance.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
