Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Experienced HVAC Specialist - Preferably with Trane experience
- 3 - 5 years of Industrial Electrical experience
- Minimum 3 years of maintenance or facilities experience
- Ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment and with a variable workload
- Strong organizational, time management, planning, written, computer and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrates a maturity of judgement, attention to detail and exceptional organizational, listening, and communication in all aspects of the job function
- Must be able to interact effectively with all team members
General Duties (these are not all-inclusive and may be modified at any time as deemed necessary)
- Maintain facility equipment including, compressors, chillers, HVAC units, exhaust & supply fans
- Provide communication and reporting of the Department progress/results in achieving divisional goals; and the regular operation of the department
- Conducts all business activity in a professional manner consistent with the positive leadership practices of building trust, empowerment, and competitiveness, with emphasis on personal responsibility. Follows and sets a positive example on a daily basis. Deals with issues and problems in a positive fashion
- Conducts daily communication meetings with assistant maintenance manager
- Orders materials required for repair, modification, installation, and maintenance of equipment following established Purchasing Policy
- Participates in new projects
- Oversees that contractors adhere to MSC plant policies and procedures
- Maintain facility equipment including, compressors, chillers, HVAC units, exhaust & supply fans
- Supports daily PM assignments, does follow-up and monitors PM schedule
