Facilities Technician - Temp-to-Hire Pay:$27-29/hr Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (occasional overtime as needed)
We are seeking a hands-on Facilities Technician to support the daily maintenance and operation of a manufacturing facility. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their workday and takes pride in keeping facilities running safely and efficiently.
What You'll Do:
Perform routine building inspections and identify maintenance needs
Complete general repairs, painting, carpentry, plumbing, and light construction projects
Assist with facility moves, equipment installations, and production-related projects
Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs and maintenance
Maintain building systems, including mechanical, electrical, fire, and security systems
Support facility readiness for changing weather conditions
Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
What We're Looking For:
2+ years of maintenance, facilities, or handyman experience
General knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform physical maintenance tasks
