III. MAJORRESPONSIBILITIES
A. Proficientlyusesbasicpowertoolsandmaintenance equipment.
B. Performsrepairsandmaintenanceonbuildings,groundsandequipmentthatincludes but is not limited to electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry and painting.
C. Completesfacilitiesserviceticketsandmeetingsetuprequests.
D. Performs general cleaning of the facilities including but not limited to cleaning bathroomsandbreakrooms,trashremoval,sweeping,mopping,vacuuming,dusting, polishing fixtures, glass cleaning and floor care.
E. Cleanallceilings,lightfixtures,airvents,exhaustvents,smokealarms,walls,etc.
F. Maintain and refill all office dispensers including soap, paper towel, toilet paper, and air fresheners.
G. Maintainandstockallbreakroomsandcustomerserviceareaswithbeveragesand supplies.
H. KeepinventoryofequipmentandsuppliesandinformtheFacilitiesManagerof replacement and restocking needs.
I. Performslandscaping,includingbutnotlimitedtocutsandtrimsgrass,trims shrubbery and sees that the office grounds are maintained in good condition.
J. CleanandmaintainallHVAC,electrical,andstorage closets.
K. Performfloor careincludingbutnotlimitedtostripping,sealing,waxing,andbuffing.
L. Maintainandusefloorcarepower equipment.
M. Performsfacilitiesroutinepreventativemaintenanceandinspectionsofbuildings, equipment, and grounds.
N. Assist with performing renovations as requested by the Facilities Manager to include painting and refinishing floors.
O. Beresponsibleforalltoolsandequipmentassigned.
P. Assistinseeingthatalldoorsandgatesaresecuredattheendofeachnormal workday.
Q. Performsotherdutiesand/orassignmentsasmaybedirectedbytheFacilities Manager.
R. Observesallsafety rules.

TheFacilitiesTechnicianshallberequiredtoperformanyotherdutiesassignedinorderto fulfill the objectives of the Cooperative.

A. GeneralPublic:Maintainsgoodrelationsinallcontactswiththegeneralpublic.
V. POSITION REQUIREMENTS
JobKnowledge,Training,andExperience:AhighschooldiplomaorG.E.D.is required and two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in facilities maintenance.
EquipmentOperated:Mustbeabletooperatemaintenanceandcleaningequipment assigned.
Abilities and Skills:Must be able to perform the activities necessary to complete work assignments described in the position description. Must have the ability to communicate effectivelywithmanagement,coworkers,othercooperativepersonnel,andthepublic. Musthavetheabilityto communicate,verballyandinwritten formin English.Musthave a valid Texas Driver’s License.
PhysicalEffort:Mustbeabletofrequentlylift,push,pull,orcarryobjectsweighingup to 60 lbs. Must be able to continuously stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb stairs or ladders. Must be able to maintain a steady, active pace in all weather conditions for 4-8 hours, covering significant distances in a shift.
WorkingConditions:Insideandoutsideworkinallkindsofweather.Someovertime may be required.
Afteranofferofemploymenthasbeenmade,aphysicalexaminationwillberequiredwhichwill include both drug and alcohol testing.
