Join the Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) team, where you'll contribute to groundbreaking innovations! We are seeking applicants for a Facilities Technician to join our Facilities Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performs preventative maintenance and repair of air handlers, boilers, chillers, roof top units, exhaust fans, vehicles, and other equipment as needed
  • Develops and maintains great working relationships with colleagues, customers and vendors.

Required Qualifications:
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., or other U.S. person
  • 5+ years working experience and a high school diploma, or 4+ years and a certification, or a bachelor’s degree and 1+ year of experience
  • Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office and the ability to communicate effectively
  • Willingness to provide support outside of core business hours

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knows the tools of the-trade and know how to operate them safely
  •  Ability to work in the discomfort of extreme weather conditions
  • Ability to present and promote a positive image to vendors, customers, and all of SDL
  • Maintains a positive mental attitude under stressful situations
  • Works independently with little or no direction
  • Ability to lift, drag or carry 40 pounds, and spend substantial time walking, or standing
  • Preventative maintenance experience
  • Ability to change direction at a moment’s notice
