Jointly responsible for the systems, including HVAC maintenance and PM, with the Facilities Manager. Also, work with the Operations Mgr. to oversee and schedule PM with service providers on various test equipment. Provides support with material handling activities, tow motor, lifts, pallet jacks. Coordinates with purchasing team to order supplies from various suppliers or pick up as needed from local suppliers on their own cognizance. Will work with managers and be mentored on the building control systems – temperature controls, adjustments, computer systems, various test equipment and lighting and at a point in time, will be responsible for those controls work with the facility and test supervisor to support the maintenance activity. Responsible to oversee the landscaping service and snow plowing service with the service provider, and on occasion, shovel the snow on walkways and salt areas. will be removed with a snow shovel. Need to have certification to operate forklift and man lift trucks. Responsible to support and possibly perform TPM on the facility and test equipment in accordance with established schedules. Participate in the site's Continuous Improvement efforts. Must be available to work odd hours, when needed. Act as liaison with outside contractors that come on site. From time to time, cleaning of the common areas such as the restrooms and lunchroom may be required. Install, repair and maintain all motors, generators, transformers, electrical fixtures, controls, power supply units and other electrical equipment of both alternating and direct current and other high voltage equipment as designated. From time to time, any or all of the following may be required: rough carpentry, finish carpentry, dry wall finishing, laying of flooring, concrete and masonry work and welding and fabrication. Maintain all systems and equipment in compliance with all applicable guidelines, specifications, codes and regulations. If needed, will be responsible to work with others in their duties.
