Atlanta, GA

$28.00/hour + Overtime Opportunities

Monday-Friday | 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM

Full-Time | Day Shift

If you're the type of electrician who enjoys solving problems, staying busy, and working on a variety of equipment every day, this could be the perfect fit.

As a Facilities Warehouse Electrician, you'll help keep a busy distribution warehouse operating safely and efficiently. You'll troubleshoot electrical issues, maintain conveyor systems, support warehouse projects, and help ensure equipment is always ready for the next shift. If you like hands-on work where no two days are exactly alike, you'll fit right in.

A Day in the Life

Your day may include:

  • Troubleshooting electrical issues on conveyors and automated warehouse equipment
  • Repairing motors, electrical panels, wiring, lighting, and power distribution systems
  • Diagnosing issues with PLC-controlled equipment, motor controls, and VFDs
  • Performing preventive maintenance to reduce downtime
  • Reading electrical prints and schematics to complete repairs
  • Responding quickly to equipment breakdowns to keep warehouse operations moving
  • Installing new electrical components and assisting with equipment upgrades
  • Completing maintenance work orders and documenting repairs
  • Working alongside maintenance technicians and warehouse personnel to solve problems safely and efficiently

No two days are exactly the same, and you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of equipment and facility projects.

Requirements

What You'll Bring

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Electrical apprenticeship, Journeyman license, or technical certification preferred

  • 3+ years of industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution center electrical maintenance experience

  • Experience troubleshooting:

  • 480V electrical systems

  • Motor controls

  • Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)

  • PLC-controlled equipment

  • Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints

  • Conveyor or automated warehouse experience is a plus

  • Strong understanding of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and workplace safety

Additional Responsibilities

You'll also support warehouse maintenance projects by:

  • Operating forklifts and aerial lifts
  • Repairing and installing warehouse racking
  • Installing safety guarding and barriers
  • Assisting with box-building when needed
  • Operating tuggers and carts to transport materials
  • Supporting general facility maintenance and improvement projects
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

  • Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb throughout the workday
  • Lift up to 50 pounds
  • Work safely around moving equipment and warehouse traffic
  • Comfortable working indoors in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
  • Ability to work overtime when business needs require
