Position Summary

Architectural design of new construction and renovation projects throughout the ECU Health system.

Coordinating architectural and engineering disciplines projects.

Coordination of bid documents including drawings and specifications for projects throughout the ECU Health system.

Assist in coordination of the ECU Health systems compliance with life safety, building code and licensure requirements.

Provide architectural design and consultation assistance to ECU Health system entities.

Maintain JCAHO Statement of Conditions for all ECU Health entities.

Provide supervision of cooperative education staff.

Perform other duties as required to provide a safe and effective Environment of Care for our patients, visitors, and employees.

Minimum Requirements

  • College Degree (4 yrs) - or higher.
  • Architecture license in North Carolina or ability to obtain within one year of employment.
  • More than 6 years architectural design of healthcare related projects.
  • Construction Administration.
