Position Summary
Performs varied tasks that require the application of skilled abilities to maintain and repair facilities, equipment, and related utilities services. On-the-job supervision is minimal and functional in nature when assigned by the Support Services Supervisor.

Equipment
Specialized tools, equipment, and materials related to the work being performed may involve plumbing, electrical, masonry, painting.
Safety Requirements
Follows all applicable safety rules, procedures and regulations governing the proper use of tools and power equipment used in the performance of duties. Wear appropriate safety gear, including masks. Must comply with the school district's chemical hygiene program and follow MSDS sheets.
Travel Requirements
Travel to and from district sites as needed.

Working Environment
The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands; the employee is frequently required to stand and walk, requires mobility for reaching and bending; must possess adequate hearing, oral and vision skill to perform daily functions of the job. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. The employee may be required to travel. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Terms of Employment
Hourly rate based on column D of the approved Classified Salary schedule as established by the Governing Board.
12 months, 8 hours per day

Evaluation
Performance of this position will be evaluated annually by the Support Services Supervisor and/or the Director of Support Services, in accordance with Governing Board Policy.
