We are seeking a dedicated individual to perform general housekeeping tasks and support vivarium operations in our SOP-compliant facility. This full-time position offers a dynamic work environment and the opportunity to work with a committed team. Apply now to be a part of our mission!

Job Responsibilities:
  • Maintain cleanliness by removing trash, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing all facility areas.
  • Clean and re-supply restrooms as needed.
  • Scrub and sanitize rooms effectively.
  • Transport equipment and supplies between rooms and facilities.
  • Assist in the repair and maintenance of cage wash equipment.
  • Maintain inventory levels of housekeeping supplies.
  • Support Technician II's with husbandry duties.
  • Receive and store animal feed, bedding, and supplies.
  • Operate cage wash equipment and ensure proper functioning.
  • Adhere to safety procedures and maintain attendance levels.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a laboratory animal facility.
  • Experience handling chemicals, detergents, and disinfectants safely.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Capability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Physical ability to lift, push, pull, and move objects weighing up to 100 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities including close vision and distance vision.
Preferences:
  • Previous experience performing receiving technician duties.
  • Familiarity with Outlook applications like email and Teams.
  • Experience working in a team environment.
  • Comfortable with large equipment and chemical safety.
