Facility Detail Technition

The Facility Detail Technician at McKey’s Janitorial Service is a critical role dedicated to ensuring every client facility meets the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and aesthetic appeal. This role involves detailed cleaning tasks, adherence to established protocols, and collaboration with the Facility Systems Manager to address any specific client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Detail-Oriented Cleaning

   • Perform deep cleaning and sanitization of client facilities, focusing on high-touch and high-traffic areas.

   • Dust, disinfect, and polish surfaces, including furniture, fixtures, and equipment.

   • Conduct specialized cleaning tasks such as spot cleaning carpets, scrubbing grout, or polishing floors as needed.

2. Facility Maintenance Support

   • Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify areas needing special attention.

   • Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the Facility Systems Manager.

1. Supply Management

   • Restock and organize cleaning supplies and equipment at each site.

   • Coordinate with the Facility Systems Manager to ensure all necessary materials are available.

2. Compliance and Safety

   • Follow company cleaning protocols, including the use of approved chemicals and equipment.

   • Adhere to safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.

3. Quality Assurance

   • Collaborate with the Facility Systems Manager during bi-weekly inspections to ensure all client standards are met.

   • Assist in implementing corrective measures to address any deficiencies identified during inspections.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Proven experience in commercial or detailed cleaning is a plus.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Good communication skills and a professional demeanor.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 30 pounds.

• Standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.

• Comfortable working in various environments, including offices, warehouses, and post-construction sites.
