Now Hiring Facility Helper

Location: Cleveland, TN

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour | Shift: 8 AM-4:30 PM | Monday-Friday

Facility Helper Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Technical school, vocational training, or industrial maintenance certification preferred.

Facility Helper Experience Requirements + Job Responsibilities

  • Experience in painting, construction, facility maintenance, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of drywall, framing, sheetrock repair, demolition, flooring, and general repairs.
  • Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
  • Perform interior and exterior painting, including proper surface preparation.
  • Complete basic construction tasks such as drywall repair, demolition, framing, flooring, and minor carpentry.
  • Conduct general facility maintenance, including cleaning, organizing, and repairing building structures.
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Assist with renovation and remodeling projects as needed.
  • Perform pressure washing and furniture assembly.
  • Help relocate inventory and stockroom materials between facilities.
  • Follow all company safety policies and workplace regulations.

Facility Helper Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and work in a variety of industrial environments throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift equipment, tools, and replacement parts weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely work around moving machinery while following established safety procedures.
  • Manual dexterity to operate tools, perform repairs, and inspect equipment.

What You Will Do

As a Facility Helper you will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment, machinery, and facility systems to support safe and efficient operations. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose equipment issues, replace worn components, document completed work, and work closely with production and operations teams to minimize downtime while maintaining quality and safety standards.

A Facility Helper helps ensure equipment, machinery, and facility systems remain safe, reliable, and ready to support daily production. This role combines mechanical expertise, technical troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance practices to maintain efficient operations.

The Facility Helper requires strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to changing maintenance priorities while maintaining quality workmanship and workplace safety. Successful candidates contribute to long-term equipment reliability and operational excellence.
